Connecting Voices – YOH@PinkDot 2014
Living as an LGBTQ youth in Singapore comes with an abundance of questions:
“Who am I?”
“How do I find other friends like me?”
“Should I come out?”
If you’ve ever had a question that desperately needed an answer, come join us at PinkDot this year where we present “Connecting Voices: Your Questions, Your Answers”; an opportunity to ask questions and get answers regarding LGBTQ related issues. Like a Q&A for the people by the people, share your thoughts, perspectives and hopefully, your solutions! The Health Promotion Board (HPB) kickstarted a great FAQ, now let’s do one for ourselves.
Swinging by our booth and participating in this project also gives you the chance to win one of two pairs of tickets (each pair worth $50) to “The Laramie Project”, a play staged by Singapore Repertory Theatre (http://www.srt.com.sg/). This and other giveaways as we build a collage of perspectives.
So join us in this community inclusive Q&A where if you don’t have the question, you might just have the answer.
